Jonathan VanBallenberghe - Director, Editor, Camera 
Jonathan VanBallenberghe owns and operates Open Lens Productions, specializing in corporate training videos, wildlife videography, and event videography.  THE OSTRICH TESTIMONIES is his first completed documentary.  He is currently working on IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO EAT FIRE, which explores the complex personality of Peter Scott, a corporate trainer and motivational speaker.  VanBallenberghe is also producing IN THE COMPANY OF MOOSE.  Intended for television, it examines the career of a wildlife biologist who has periodically lived with moose for the last twenty-five years.  VanBallenberghe is the recipient of a 2004 Arizona Commission on the Arts Artists’ Project Grant. 

Sharon Wahl – Co-Producer
Sharon Wahl is a writer and editor.  She is the author of the recently-completed books I Also Dated Zarathustra and A Critique of Passionate Reason, as well as the script for the musical comedy Myoptika.  Her writing has won awards from the Chicago Tribune, The Iowa Review, and other journals, as well as grants from the Arizona Commission on the Arts in 1999 and 2003.  She has been writer-in-residence at Penn State and has also had artist residencies at Villa Montalvo, Dorland Mountain Colony, and the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation.
